Quartz and quartzite are the dominant counter choice across the Capital Region for their durability and how they photograph; solid maple or white oak cabinetry with a painted or stained finish pairs well and holds up to Albany winters better than thinner veneer work. We finalize appliances early in the design phase so they arrive before demolition starts. A typical HomeNest kitchen remodel runs 8-12 weeks on-site, with another 4-6 weeks on the front end for planning and procurement, you’ll have a working kitchen with a real timeline before we swing a hammer.
